Police Arrest Eighteen Suspects While Raiding Dark Spots In Osun

 

The Nigeria Police Force in Osun State on Saturday arrested eighteen suspects while raiding dark spots across the state.

Mr Yemisi Opalola, the state PPRO revealed this in a statement obtained in Osogbo.

He said the suspects were undergoing interrogation and advised members of the public to shun all forms of electoral offences, as the command was prepared to deal decisively with anyone caught in such act.

She also enjoined residents to give prompt and useful information that could assist the police to nip in the bud all kinds of crimes and electoral malpractices.

Part of the statement reads;

“Consequent upon the fast approaching Osun State Gubernatorial election in July, 2022, Osun State Police Command has embarked on raiding of black spots within the state to fish out criminal elements perpetrating crime in the state.

“18 suspected criminals were arrested. They are currently undergoing interrogation, ”
